Welcome to Fromerica — From America to Anywhere

Find active US manufacturers on a map, search by product. Free for importers. Tariffs, HTS codes and screening made simple. From America, to anywhere.

Let me tell you the dumbest problem in global trade.

America makes incredible stuff. Machinery, medical devices, food ingredients, industrial parts, weird niche components that only three factories on Earth know how to build half of them are in a business park in Ohio you've never heard of. And somewhere across the ocean, there's a buyer who needs exactly that thing, who would buy American in a heartbeat… if only they knew that factory existed.

They don't. So they don't. And a great deal that should've happened just… doesn't.

That's the itch I couldn't stop scratching. That's why Fromerica exists.

So what does this thing actually do?

Fromerica is a marketplace that puts active US manufacturers and exporters on a map, searchable by what they actually make. An importer in São Paulo, Lagos, or Ho Chi Minh City types in what they need, sees who makes it, where they're located, what their capacity is, and which markets they already ship to. Then they message them or fire off one request for quote and let matching exporters come to them.

No cold-emailing 400 companies. No "let me get back to you" that never gets back to you. No trade show where you collect 90 business cards and one head cold. Just: here's who makes it, here's where they are, go.

And for importers, the whole thing is free. Search, quotes, tools — free. I'll explain the "how do we eat, then" part in a second.

The logic, because there is one

The way I see it, three things were always broken:

Discovery. Great American manufacturers were invisible to the world. Fantastic at making things, allergic to marketing themselves overseas. So we made them findable a real map of real, active exporters, refreshed daily.

Trust and paperwork. International trade comes wrapped in the least fun homework on the planet. Tariff codes. HTS classifications. Making sure the company you're about to wire money to isn't on a US restricted-party list. Nobody wakes up excited to screen a denied-party list. So we built those tools and gave them away free: tariff and landed-cost lookup straight from official USITC data, denied-party screening against OFAC, BIS, and State, an export activity index, and an AI copilot that actually understands this stuff. Consider it your very boring, very reliable co-pilot.

Direction. Most platforms help the world sell to America. We flipped the arrow. This is America selling to the world small and mid-size makers included, not just the giants with an export department the size of a small town.

And who pays for all this?

The exporters. US companies subscribe to stay listed and get found by global buyers. Importers ride for free, because the whole point is to get as many buyers as possible searching that map. Simple, honest, and I'm telling you upfront so nobody feels like they read the fine print too late.

Welcome — genuinely

If you make something in America: welcome. The world is a much bigger customer than your zip code, and it's been trying to find you.

If you're an importer anywhere on the map: welcome. Come kick the tires, run a few searches, break something, tell us what's missing. This is built for you.

We're not trying to reinvent trade. We're just trying to make the good stuff findable, the scary parts simpler, and the honest deals easier to close.

And let me confess something. I've got one very specific, almost stubborn dream: I want the first business match of your life as an exporter or an importer to happen right here, on this site. That first time a maker and a buyer who've never met shake hands through a screen and say "let's do it." That first deal. That first container. That first yes. If we can be the place where that happens for the very first time, then we've done our job right.

Because here's the thing I keep coming back to: somewhere out there, the maker and the buyer who were meant to find each other are still looking. Our whole job is to shorten that distance — and to be there, wide awake, the day they finally meet.

From America, to anywhere let's go build something that ships. And let that first deal start right here.
