About Fromerica

Last reviewed: October 7, 2026

1. What Fromerica is

Fromerica is a business-to-business marketplace that connects manufacturers and exporters in the United States with importers in other countries. Alongside the directory, it publishes free reference tools built on official U.S. government data: a tariff lookup, a denied-party screening check, a Schedule B lookup and export statistics by state and product.

The site is operated by Fromerica LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Its registration and the checks anyone can run on the site are listed, with their sources, on the Trust and Compliance page.

2. Who is behind it

Fromerica was founded by Allan Morales. He holds a law degree (2012) and a master's degree in international trade and integration, with postgraduate studies in international trade, and has six years of professional experience in international trade, mainly on the import side.

He is not licensed to practice law in the United States, and nothing on this site is legal advice.

3. How we write and review

  • Official sources first. Duty rates come from the U.S. International Trade Commission, trade statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, and the screening list from the U.S. International Trade Administration. Each page names its source and links to it.
  • Dates you can see. Data pages show when the data was last retrieved, and articles show when they were published.
  • Our own calculations are labeled. Shares, rankings and year-over-year changes are marked as Fromerica calculations, so they are not mistaken for official figures.
  • Who signs. Articles and guides signed "Fromerica Team" are published under the responsibility of the founder.

4. Corrections

Trade rules change often. If you find something wrong or out of date, write to info@fromerica.com with the page address and the official source. We review every report and correct the page when the source confirms it.

5. What this site is not

Fromerica is an independent private company. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of the agencies whose public data it uses. The tools and articles are reference material: they do not replace a customs broker, a trade compliance professional or a lawyer for a specific shipment or contract.
