Listing & Content Terms

1. Scope

These Listing & Content Terms (the "Page Conditions") apply to every public-facing page on the Fromerica platform that displays information submitted by a user, including Exporter profiles, Professional profiles, product catalogs and images, Requests for Quote, star ratings, written reviews and testimonials, blog comments and submitted success stories, and any direct message exchanged through the Platform (together, "Listings"). These Page Conditions supplement, and are incorporated into, our Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict, the more protective-of-Fromerica provision controls.

2. "Declared" means self-reported and unverified — full stop

Every field a user fills in when creating or editing a Listing — company name, legal or trade name, state of registration, physical address, license or authorization number, professional certifications, years in business, employee count, production capacity, product descriptions, product images, certifications claimed (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE), export markets served, and any other claim — is self-reported by that user and is labeled, expressly and visibly, as "Declared."

Fromerica: (a) does not independently investigate, audit, confirm, cross-check, or verify any Declared information before or after it is published; (b) does not confirm that a user is who they claim to be, that a business legally exists, is in good standing, or is authorized to sell, export, or provide the goods or services described; (c) does not confirm that any license, certification, or registration number is genuine, current, or was in fact issued to that user; and (d) does not confirm that any product image accurately depicts the goods actually available, or that any product claim (quality, origin, specifications, compliance) is true. The sole and exclusive responsibility for the truth, accuracy, legality, and completeness of Declared information rests with the user who submitted it — never with Fromerica.

3. What a "✓ Verified" badge does — and does not — mean

Where the Platform displays a narrow "✓ Verified" badge (for example, a cross-check of a company's name and state against that state's public business-registry records), that badge confirms only the single, specific fact described immediately next to it, performed on the date shown, using publicly available third-party data that Fromerica does not control and does not guarantee is current or error-free. A "Verified" badge on one fact is not, and must never be read as, a certification, guarantee, endorsement, or verification of: the user's overall legitimacy or trustworthiness; the quality, safety, legality, or origin of any product; any license, certification, or professional qualification not itself expressly covered by that badge; the user's solvency or ability to perform any transaction; or the truthfulness of any other Declared field on that same profile. Any registration state a user selects that has not been cross-checked remains "Declared" and unverified, exactly like every other field.

4. Images, product claims, and third-party content

Product photos, company logos, and any other image uploaded to a Listing are supplied entirely by the user who uploads them. Fromerica does not review images before or after publication to confirm that the uploader owns the rights to them, that they truthfully depict the product on offer, or that they comply with any law. By uploading an image, the user represents and warrants that they own it or are authorized to publish it, and agrees to indemnify Fromerica for any claim arising from that image under Section 10 of our Terms of Use. 5. Ratings, reviews, testimonials, and comments

Star ratings, written reviews, testimonials submitted for a Professional profile, and blog comments are the personal, subjective opinion of the individual who submitted them. Fromerica does not verify that a reviewer actually transacted with the party being reviewed, does not fact-check the content of any review, and does not endorse, adopt, or vouch for the opinion expressed. A high rating is not a guarantee of future performance, and a low rating is not a finding of fault by Fromerica. Reviews may be submitted by a logged-in Importer or Exporter, or by anyone who verifies a one-time-use email code; neither path involves Fromerica confirming that a real transaction occurred.

6. Messages between users

Contact messages and Request-for-Quote details sent through the Platform are private communications between the sending and receiving users. Fromerica does not review, moderate, or verify the content of these messages before delivery and is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, any statement, offer, promise, or representation made by one user to another in such a message, or for any transaction that results from it.

7. No liability for Listings — this is the entire point of these Page Conditions

Fromerica, its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable, under any legal theory, for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising out of or related to: (a) any Declared information later found to be false, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading; (b) any image that misrepresents a product or infringes a third party's rights; (c) any rating, review, testimonial, or comment; (d) any message, quote, or representation exchanged between users; (e) reliance by any Visitor, Importer, Exporter, or Professional on any Listing when deciding to contact, negotiate with, pay, ship to, or otherwise deal with another user; or (f) any dispute, non-performance, fraud, misrepresentation, product defect, shipment problem, customs issue, or financial loss arising between users. This Section 7 applies in addition to, and does not limit, the broader disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions in Sections 8, 9, and 10 of our Terms of Use.

8. Your own responsibility when relying on a Listing

Before contacting, negotiating with, paying, shipping goods to, or entering into any agreement with another user, you are solely responsible for independently verifying, through your own due diligence (which may include a licensed customs broker, trade attorney, credit-reference service, or in-person/video verification), any fact you intend to rely on — including the counterparty's legal existence, licensing, product quality, and ability to perform. Fromerica strongly recommends never sending payment or goods based solely on information found on a Listing without independent verification.

9. Removal, suspension, and reporting

A "Report" link is available on public profiles so any user can flag a Listing they believe is false, fraudulent, or violates these Page Conditions or our Terms of Use. Submitting a report does not obligate Fromerica to investigate within any deadline, to take any particular action, or to act at all. We may edit, unpublish, suspend, or permanently remove any Listing, at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, without liability to the user who submitted it or to anyone who relied on it.

10. Changes to these Page Conditions

We may update these Page Conditions at any time by posting the revised version here with a new effective date, as described in Section 15 of our Terms of Use.
